Notes by Carlo Kaminski:- "To clarify exactly where the tombstone is located: The main entrance to the old Queens High school is in Langerman Drive, Kensington, Johannesburg. I attended this school back in 1970. The school is now used by Transvaal Scottish Regiment as its Battalion Headquarters – called The Garrison, as well as others, such as the South African Irish Regiment. To also clarify that the gravesite is not in a cemetery, it is a lone gravesite/tombstone, to be found on the southern boundary of the old school grounds, alongside Westmoreland Road (in the south western corner)."
Pieter Du Venage wrote: "The names on the tombstone are that of my great-grandfather and great-grandmother, Abraham Nicolaas du Venage + 2 Apr 1920 and Martha Helena Pretorius + 22 Jul 1915 in Johannesburg 58 years old"
