COKER HYLTON DUDLEY, Rifleman, 66458696N, South African Infantry Corps, 3 South African Infantry Battalion. Born 2-Oct-1950, Died 13-Sep-1970 at the age of 19.Died in Military Vehicle Accident. His section being was transported in a Gladiator, and there was a bad crash and fire, with the troops trapped in the rear. The army vehicle he was in collided head-on with a newspaper delivery van between Colesberg and Philippolis, on their way back to Ladysmith army camp.Cremated - Ashes in family grave Durban Stellawood Cemetery. Son of Mr. S. H. Coker of Durban.
