St Peter’s, Mowbray had a graveyard situated below UCT Medical School down to the Main Road, bordering to the west on Anzio Road. The graveyard was replaced with a shopping mall and gravestones were stored in an enclosed and locked area (keys used to be obtainable from the mall security.) Any remains found were placed in a columbarium. A former founder member of the CTFHS, the late Lorna White, transcribed the St Peter's Burial Register and this can be searched on the Cape Town Family History Society's Website
